Radial Repeat And Gradients In Illustrator

A video showing how to use the repeat feature 'radial' in Illustrator combined with a mix of gradients.

A colored gradient design using the repeat feature but combined with just duplicating the design again and again and then all the colors are randomised using the Randomino plugin from Astute Graphics for Illustrator
A mix of gradient filled shapes generated via the radial repeat. The shapes were added to the initial radial design and then gradients were added.
The pen tool is a great way of creating all kinds of artwork for use with the radial repeat object. This can be done before you start but you can also double click on the radial object and then edit that and add more zigzag points
Transparency and gradients and radial is always of interest
Grid works as well as a repeat object and can be filled with all kinds of gradients which are all still editable. The artwork can also be modified further via the envelope tools.
Radial gradients can be made up of multiple objects
Radial instances can be warped and distorted and also re-colored (using Randomino)
Multiple radial objects can be combined
Multiple paths can be used with any radial repeat object. You can find out more about radial repeats as well as gradients via https://www.graphicxtras.com/gradients-repeat-in-illustrator.htm
